RO membrane housing Oman: the Alfa Aerosol FRP Membrane Housing from Sahara Industry, India, is built for reverse osmosis plants of every size, from a 2.5″ single-element unit to 8″ multi-element industrial and seawater trains. Housings are filament wound FRP, certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and CE marked, with pressure ratings from 300 psi to 1,200 psi.

How the Alfa Aerosol FRP Membrane Housing Works
Each housing is wound over precision mandrels with a resin system that gives a smooth, glassy bore, so membranes slide in without damage and seal properly. Every vessel is hydro-tested at 1.5 times its working pressure before dispatch, and each production batch goes through a life cycle test. The design follows ASME Section X Class 1 and NSF/ANSI 61 / 372 requirements.

Choosing the Right Model
Choose the housing by membrane diameter, number of elements per vessel and maximum feed pressure. Brackish water plants in Oman usually run at 150 to 250 psi, so 300 psi housings are enough; seawater plants need 1,000 psi or 1,200 psi. Installation and Maintenance
- Check end cap seals and O-rings at each membrane change
- Never exceed the rated pressure printed on the vessel label
- Support the vessel on proper saddles and straps, not on the piping
- Keep FRP shells out of direct sunlight where possible, or paint with UV-resistant coating
