TNK-3 — Twice-yearly contract
Two cleans a year at fixed dates, with reports filed for your records. This is how most of our water tank cleaning service in Oman customers run once they have seen the first tank opened.
TNK-4 — Clean plus water testing programme
Cleaning on schedule plus laboratory sampling for bacteriological quality, for buildings that have to prove water safety to an auditor, a brand standard or an HSE requirement.
Why twice a year, not once
A roof tank in Muscat sits in 45 C air for six months of the year. Sediment settles, biofilm forms on the walls, and the water inside drifts into the temperature band where bacteria multiply fastest. Dust and sand get in through a lid that no longer seals, and in older buildings the insect screen has usually gone. An annual clean is a European interval applied to an Omani climate, and the inside of the tank at month ten shows it.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a tank clean take?
A single villa tank is usually two to three hours including disinfection contact time. A building with several tanks is scheduled across a day or split over two visits so residents are not cut off.
Is the water safe to use straight after?
Yes. We flush the tank after disinfection until the chlorine residual is back to a normal drinking water level, and we confirm it with a test before leaving.
Do you clean sectional and GRP tanks?
Yes, including sectional tanks in hotel and industrial plant rooms. We also report on panel seals and internal bracing condition, which is often where the real problem is.
How often should a water tank cleaning service in Oman visit?
Twice a year for most buildings, and more often for a tank in direct sun, a building with low occupancy, or any site with a Legionella control scheme in place.
