Installation and Replacement
Fitting takes a few minutes. Shut the feed valve, depressurise the system, open the housing, remove the spent element, and press the new one home until both brine seals seat. Flush to drain for 20 to 30 minutes before drawing water for drinking.
Under Oman feed water conditions we recommend replacing the element every 12 to 24 months, or sooner if product TDS rises above 10% of feed TDS. Sediment and carbon pre-filters should be changed every six months. Chlorine will destroy a polyamide element, so a working carbon pre-filter is not optional.

How do I know the membrane needs changing?
Test the TDS of the product water with a handheld meter. If it exceeds 10% of the feed TDS, or if the tank takes noticeably longer to fill, the element is spent.
