Floor standing drinking fountain Oman: the Nowtech YL-600C Floor Standing Drinking Fountain is built for parks, schools, factories and public areas. It is Nowtech’s most popular floor standing fountain, with a brushed anti-fingerprint stainless steel body, a swan neck tap and a drinking bubbler, chilling 30 L/h of mains water to 8–12°C.

How the Nowtech YL-600C Floor Standing Drinking Fountain Works
The fountain connects to the water main and drain. Water is filtered through a PP+CTO composite cartridge and chilled in a 4.2 litre tank made from 1.2 mm stainless steel. The YL-600C 2P model uses foot pedals, so users never touch the outlet, which reduces cross infection in schools and labour accommodation. A removable front panel gives quick access for DIY filter replacement.

Choosing the Right Model
Count the number of people using the unit at peak times. A 30 L/h cooler suits up to about 30 to 50 people; multi-tap coolers with 200 L/h suit 50 to 100 people or more. In Oman, summer temperatures reach above 45°C and mains or tanker water can be warm and high in chlorine or TDS, so add an RO or carbon filter where taste matters. Installation and Maintenance
- Needs a cold water line, a drain point and a 220–240 V power socket
- Leave at least 10 cm ventilation space around the compressor
- Replace PP+CTO filters every 3 to 6 months, sooner on tanker or well water
- Sanitise the tank and outlets every 6 months; we offer annual maintenance contracts
