Why towers scale fast here
Evaporation is the whole point of a cooling tower, and evaporation concentrates whatever was in the make-up water. Omani make-up is hard to begin with, ambient temperatures are high for most of the year, and tower duty runs long. Without a cycles target and a controlled bleed, hardness concentrates until it deposits on the fill and the condenser tubes, and every millimetre of scale costs chiller efficiency you pay for in the electricity bill.

Legionella and cooling towers
A cooling tower is the highest risk water system in most buildings, because it aerosolises warm water into the open air. Any serious cooling tower water treatment in Oman has to treat Legionella control as part of the programme rather than as a separate exercise, which means biocide on alternation, basin and drift eliminator condition, and sampling on a schedule. Can you take over from our current chemical supplier?
Yes. We start with a make-up analysis and a review of your current dosing, bleed and test records, then correct the programme. Handover is routine in cooling tower water treatment in Oman and most sites change supplier at least once.
Do you offer non-chemical treatment?
For scale control, yes. Electronic anti-scale systems suit sites where chemical handling is restricted or where a tender specifies a chemical-free approach. Biocide control still needs a biocide programme.
How often should the basin be cleaned?
