Description
The Vulcan electronic anti-scale system is a German-made, chemical-free way to control limescale in cooling towers, chillers, heat exchangers and process pipework. UV Water Systems supplies and installs the full Vulcan 48 Volt range across Muscat and the rest of Oman, from small villa lines up to 40-inch industrial headers.
Oman’s groundwater and tanker water carry high hardness and TDS, and cooling towers concentrate those minerals with every cycle. The result is scale on condenser tubes, blocked fill packs and rising power bills. An electronic anti-scale system in Oman keeps those minerals in suspension, so they leave with the blowdown instead of sticking to hot surfaces.
How the Vulcan Electronic Anti-Scale System Works
Impulse bands wrapped around the pipe send a modulated electrical signal into the water. Calcium and magnesium form small, stable crystals that stay in the flow rather than bonding to pipe walls and heat-exchange surfaces. No pipe cutting, no salt and no dosing chemicals are needed. Minerals stay in the water, which is why Vulcan is not a water softener.
