How the Alfa Aerosol FRP Pool Sand Filter Works
Pool water is pumped into the top of the tank, spread evenly across the sand bed by a top diffuser, and filtered as it moves down to the laterals at the bottom. When the pressure gauge rises, the multiport valve is switched to backwash to clean the sand. The six positions cover filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate and closed.
