This FRP SWRO vessel is a 1,000 psi rated 8040-format pressure housing purpose-built for seawater reverse osmosis membrane systems. Seawater reverse osmosis operates at feed pressures of 55–70 bar (800–1,015 psi) to overcome the osmotic pressure of seawater, far higher than brackish water RO.
