Description
Cabinet water softener Oman: the Ecosoft P’URE Cabinet Water Softener is built for apartments and villas. The P’URE is an all-in-one cabinet softener with a Clack WS1 CE control valve, using up to three times less salt per regeneration than competing units according to Ecosoft, with a 36-month manufacturer warranty.
Ecosoft was founded in 1991 in Ukraine and joined the BWT Group in 2018. It manufactures water treatment equipment in an 8,000 m² ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified factory, holds the WQA Gold Seal for its RO systems (NSF/ANSI 58), and exports to 60 countries. UV Water Systems has used Ecosoft equipment in Oman for years and supplies, installs and services it across the Sultanate.
How the P’URE Cabinet Water Softener Works
Hard water flows through the resin bed inside the cabinet, where calcium and magnesium are exchanged for sodium. When the resin is loaded, the Clack valve regenerates it automatically using brine from the built-in salt cabinet, based on time and water volume. FU models use DOWEX HCR-S/S softening resin. FK models use ECOMIX C media, which also reduces iron, manganese, ammonium and organic matter.

Choosing the Right Model
Oman’s water sources vary widely. Municipal water is usually low in TDS, while well, farm and tanker water can carry 1,000 to 3,000 mg/L TDS, high hardness and iron. Before quoting a cabinet water softener Oman solution, we test your water for TDS, hardness, iron and chlorine, and size the system to your daily demand and peak flow. Send us a water test report or call us to arrange one. Read more about reverse osmosis and water softening.
Why Water Treatment Matters in Oman
Heat, stored tank water and hard groundwater are hard on equipment and on taste. Scale shortens the life of heaters, coffee machines and boilers, and high TDS water tastes salty. A correctly sized cabinet water softener Oman system, with the right pre-treatment and regular service, protects appliances and gives consistent water quality all year.
Installation and Maintenance
- Professional installation with bypass and isolation valves
- Replace sediment and carbon pre-filters every 3 to 6 months, sooner on tanker or well water
