Capacity. It carries 33% more than the i2000-2 at 12,000 gallons, so a high output machine goes longer between changes. The media and scale inhibitor are otherwise comparable.
Does it stop scale completely?
It inhibits scale formation, it does not remove hardness. On very hard feed water above roughly 300 ppm we would recommend a softener ahead of the ice machine as well. Send us a water analysis and we will advise.
What is AgION?
A silver-based antimicrobial built into the filter media. It suppresses bacterial growth within the cartridge over its service life, which matters in Oman’s ambient temperatures.

Installation of the Everpure Insurice i4000-2 Oman cartridge is straightforward on an existing head or housing and needs no electrical connection.
