How the Disc Cloth Filter Fits Your Plant

The disc cloth filter is installed after the secondary clarifier and before final disinfection. Water flows from outside to inside through the cloth-covered discs while the discs stay submerged. When solids build up, suction heads clean the cloth while filtration continues, so the plant never stops for a backwash cycle. Where a pressure filter suits the site better, our Fiber Filter option gives TSS below 10 ppm.
