Installation, replacement and warranty

Mount the bracket to a wall or the machine cabinet, connect the 3/8 inch FPT inlet and outlet, open the shut-off and flush the cartridge until the water runs clear. Note the pressure gauge reading at commissioning; a drop of more than 15 psi from that baseline usually means the cartridge is loaded and due for change.

Replace the i2000(2) cartridge at 9,000 gallons or every 6 to 12 months, whichever comes first. Only the cartridge is replaced; the head stays in place. Genuine Everpure product carries 12 months warranty against manufacturing defects.

Does it soften the water?
It applies scale control rather than full softening. On very hard feed water we may recommend a small softener ahead of it.
