Commercial RO plant Oman: the Ecosoft MO Commercial Reverse Osmosis System is built for hotels, hospitals, schools, labour camps, car washes, laundries, bakeries and light industry. The MO range produces 6,500 to 36,000 litres per day (280 to 1,500 L/h) from feed water up to 1,500–3,000 mg/L TDS, on a compact skid with DOW Filmtec XLE membranes and a Grundfos pump.
Ecosoft was founded in 1991 in Ukraine and joined the BWT Group in 2018. It manufactures water treatment equipment in an 8,000 m² ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified factory, holds the WQA Gold Seal for its RO systems (NSF/ANSI 58), and exports to 60 countries. How the MO Commercial Reverse Osmosis System Works
Water passes a 5 micron PP sediment filter, then a Grundfos multistage high pressure pump drives it through DOW Filmtec XLE-4040 low energy membranes at about 12 bar. The Ecosoft controller monitors permeate conductivity, feed and permeate pressure switches and the tank float switch, and runs automatic membrane flushes. Econnect models add online monitoring of water use, quality and service schedules. Ecosoft states the design saves up to 50% energy and 30–50% floor space compared with its earlier models.
