Description
The FilmTec SW30XHR-400 Membrane is DuPont’s extra-high rejection 8-inch seawater reverse osmosis element with 400 ft² of active area. It is built for plants where permeate quality matters most, such as boron-sensitive drinking water, single-pass desalination and feed to boilers or DI polishing.
Seawater along the Omani coast often runs above 40,000 mg/L TDS and 30 °C. The XHR chemistry holds very high salt and boron rejection under these warm, salty conditions, so many plants can meet drinking water limits in one pass instead of adding a second RO stage.
