The WINTEMP SC27CU is a zip tap Oman households and offices can fit into an existing kitchen: cold, sparkling and filtered water from one stainless steel faucet, with the whole machine hidden inside the sink cabinet. It chills filtered mains water to 2.8 °C on demand and carbonates it at the touch of the same tap.

Built for Muscat water and Muscat heat

Tap water here runs warm for most of the year and carries a heavy mineral load. Chilling it in the fridge means jugs taking up shelf space, and bottled water means a delivery to chase every week. The SC27CU filters the incoming supply, holds 2.75 litres in a 304 food-grade stainless steel tank chilled by a high-efficiency compressor, and delivers up to 10 litres of cold water per hour.

We size and specify residential systems against the WHO drinking water quality guidelines, and the pre-filtration ahead of this unit removes chlorine, sediment and taste compounds before water reaches the tank.

Does it dispense boiling water?
No. The SC27CU handles cold, sparkling and ambient filtered water. For boiling as well, choose the 5-in-1 under sink chiller boiler.

Is the CO₂ cylinder included?
No, and neither is the filter. We supply both separately and fit them during installation, so you get a working system on day one.

How cold does the water actually get?
Down to 2.8 °C, held by a compressor rather than a cooling block, so it stays cold through continuous use.

Will it fit my kitchen?
It needs 400 mm of clear cabinet width, a power socket and a drain point. Our technician confirms this on a free site visit before you commit.

What does a zip tap Oman installation cost to run?
